This is unhealthy for a number of reasons, not just because of how it turns what should be a sharing and open community into a greedy capitalistic hell. * I f I create content for the sims, I HAVE to monetize it using patreon, ad.fly, or something similar (TSR, website, simsdom, etc) and make it my priority. Lemme break down a few of the “beliefs” people have been holding and why they’re not good for them, or us all at large. The pressure that you’re feeling that you “have to make” this stuff comes from within.Īnd honestly, y'all….speaking as someone who’s been trying to make sure I stay in a healthy mindset and keep promoting healthy habits in my life….we really need to stop this unhealthy belief system that has pervaded this community. ![]() Nobody’s threatening or trying to intimidate you into making custom content for the sims. ![]() Y ou should not have to stay up late, skip meals, or do anything “unhealthy” to justify making content. ![]() Look, I’m saying this with all due respect, but if you’re literally only creating stuff just so people can pay you and so you can make content “exclusive” you’re really into creating stuff for reasons that are really unhealthy. ![]()
